Raza is a Consultant Haematologist at the University Hospital of Wales and member of the British Society for Haematology (BSH) Thrombosis and Haemostasis Task Force and Guideline Committee.

Gill is a Consultant Haematologist at University Hospitals Birmingham where she is also Deputy Director for Research and Development. She is an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Birmingham and Chair of the NIHR Haematology National Speciality Group.
